Sunflower Maternity Photoshoot | Metro Detroit Pregnancy Photography
When I met with Amanda and JC for their consultation to plan their maternity and newborn photo shoots, they knew exactly what they wanted for the maternity session - sunflowers and a bit of a boho vibe. Maternity portraits are typically photographed between 30-33 weeks pregnancy, which just so happened to align with when the sunflowers were in bloom!
We went to Westview Orchards for their session and were able to utilize both the apple trees and the sunflower field. We couldn’t get over the size of the sunflowers! The diameter for them must have been at least 12 inches - massive! But you know me, I was beyond geeked for those beauties in Amanda and JC’s photos!
Amanda’s dress is from Baltic Barn and she looked gorgeous! If you are looking for a fab dress in the future, I do recommend Baltic Barn dresses to clients. However, I give warning that their shipping is a bit slow, and if you do have to return something you get store credit rather than a refund. Besides that, their customer service is good and their dresses are beautiful and good quality.
