One Year, Cake Smash, and Sitter Milestones
Baby is growing fast and meeting so many milestones! Rolling over, sitting up, first teeth, crawling, standing up, babbling, and soon they will be walking! And can we talk about how sweet those chubby little thighs are?!
Milestone sessions are made to capture all of this baby cuteness! I recommend bringing baby into the studio for a Sitter Session (typically done around 6-8 months old) and of course, a one year old photo session to capture their big first birthday! Feel free to use my Client Closet for Milestone sessions that are boutique and timeless outfits for baby to wear during their session, and always cleaned afterwards. First birthday sessions can be from a variety of a one year old portrait session, a cake smash, a milk bath or an idea we plan together. I gather all the props, you bring the cake and we will create the most adorable photos of your little one you will ever see.

01. WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY PHOTO SESSION FOR MY BABY’S FIRST BIRTHDAY?
I recommend getting scheduled 1-2 months prior to your baby’s first birthday, as I typically book out in advance.
02. DO I HAVE TO BRING ALL THE PROPS?
Absolutely not! I create the sets for the portrait, cake smash, milk bath, and so forth. You don’t have to bring anything with you, unless there’s something special you would like included. If doing a cake smash, you do need to bring the cake along for the session. I have some bakery recommendations I can provide to you, as well!
03. TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE BABY CLIENT CLOSET.
Sure! The Baby Client Closet offers my little clients boutique type outfits to use during their sessions! I have a variety of colors and styles to select from, and they are complimentary for you to use. Save yourself a shopping trip!
04. CAN WE DO THE SESSION OUTSIDE?
Yes, if it is warmer months we can absolutely plan to do baby’s sessions outside! Typically I schedule outdoor one year sessions April - October.
05. ARE WE ALLOWED TO DO A COUPLE OF FAMILY PHOTOS?
You bet! I always like to include family photos at this big milestone session! There’s no additional charge for it, so why not capture your gorgeous family?
